Cow Barn

In Late September and October, Pick a pumpkin as unique as you are to take home. This activity also includes playing classic farm games: Corn hole, Circle and stick, and Cup ball. ($5 addition per student)

Gem Mining

Students can gem mine in our sluice for different rocks, gems, minerals, and even fossils. Students will learn about how rocks are formed, and sort them into categories.  ($5 addition per student) 

Fungus among us

Mold, yeast and mushrooms are everywhere. Students will learn about how fungus reproduce, different characteristics of fungi, and even taste some delicious fungus! Take home a mushroom log to grow your own at home!  ($5 addition per student) 

Rent a chick experience

Rent a chick experience includes: 8 fertile eggs, an incubator, a chick brooder, a light, a food and water bowl, and a bag of starter feed. 

Your students can incubate the eggs,  have the responsibility of caring for the chicks , and watch the magic of life hatch before their eyes. Then in one week return the chicks and equipment back to the farm where they will live happily ever after with their friends. ($50 plus deposit)

Solar Energy on the Farm

On a sunny day, learn how to make s'mores out of recycled materials most of us have around the house. Learn how solar energy works, and how it powers different parts of our farm. ($5 add on)
